Live technician locations on a single map, refreshed every 30 seconds. Verify on-site arrivals, send accurate ETAs to customers, and stop guessing where your team is.
When a technician opens the PoolPath mobile app for their day, the app starts reporting location to the platform every 30 seconds while a route is in progress. The dispatcher map updates in near-real-time so you can see every truck at once.
When a tech approaches the next stop's service location, PoolPath auto-detects arrival — no "tap to start" required. The visit timer starts, the on-site state updates, and (if enabled) the customer gets a "your tech has arrived" notification.
GPS is opt-in at the company level and per-tech. Techs see a clear indicator when location is being reported. Location only streams while the app is foregrounded and a route is active — not 24/7 surveillance.
Most techs welcome it once they understand the use case: it eliminates the daily "where are you?" calls and proves they were on-site if a customer ever disputes a service.
Traditional fleet GPS systems cost $20–40 per truck per month plus install fees. PoolPath uses the phone the tech already carries — no devices to buy, no install appointments, no hardware to break.
