Every pool gets the right checklist.

Build separate checklists for residential, commercial, and spa work. Mark items as required, attach photo proof, and stop wondering whether the job actually got done.

Why pool service needs typed checklists

A residential weekly clean is not the same job as a commercial-pool opening or a spa-only chemistry-and-filter swap. PoolPath ships separate checklist libraries per pool type, with sensible defaults you can edit. Each visit pulls the right list automatically based on the pool type on the customer record.

For commercial work, the checklist becomes a defensible service log — required readings, sign-off, and exportable PDFs that match standard health-department formats.

Required items + photo proof

Mark any checklist item as required. The visit cannot be closed on mobile until every required item is checked. Add a "photo required" flag to specific items (e.g., "main drain inspected") and the tech is forced to attach a photo before completion.

This is gold for accountability. When a customer disputes a service ("you didn't brush the steps"), you have a timestamped checklist plus the photo proof, attached to the visit.

Repeat intervals — set once, forget

Most checklist items happen on every visit. Some don't — backwash the filter monthly, brush waterline weekly, replace cartridges quarterly. PoolPath respects per-item repeat intervals so the right checklist appears on the right day, no manual juggling.
